This month we are collecting Easter Eggs in support of The Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
Being in hospital as a child can be frightening and sometimes boring but being there over holiday times like Christmas and Easter can make it even worse. Not only are they missing out on spending time with their family and friends, they’re also not able to enjoy opening presents or going on an Easter Egg hunt to find chocolate treats.
We took up the challenge to collect as many chocolate Easter Eggs as possible for children who are sadly having to spend Easter in hospital this year.
All staff members donated to the cause, and I’m delighted to report that we managed to collect a total of 86 chocolate eggs!
Yesterday, Lewis and Catherine, who head up our Charities & Community Team, delivered the eggs to our local hospital in Worthing, Sussex, to the children in the Blue Fin ward.
Also, earlier in the week we were visited by one of our clients who saw the collection and, after hearing about our partnership with Rockinghorse, has very generously offered to donate £500 to the cause!
