Money Shield
Money Shield is a Client Money Protection (CMP) scheme enabling lettings and estate agents to reassure tenants, landlords, buyers and vendors that their money is safe.
We will reimburse landlords and tenants who are out of pocket as a result of a property agent misappropriate rent, deposit or other client funds – up to £5 million per year with a maximum award of £50,000 per individual claim.*
Money Shield is administered by Propertymark, an established brand which is visible in estate and lettings agents offices on high streets across the UK. As the scheme’s administrator, Propertymark has a long and successful history of managing Client Money Protection claims. Money Shield is the only CMP scheme, external to Propertymark, that you can use for eligibility for membership of Propertymark.

Have been using their service for a year and it’s absolutely brilliant. Matt has been very helpful onboarding us and guide us through the whole set up process. He has arranged a system training for us and the system is very easy to use. The Client Services team is always responsive so you don’t have to worry missing anything. Highly recommended
Could not have coped without them
I have been using TLP since July 2022 and I honestly could not have coped without them, the amount of time and stress saved with them looking after all the finance is priceless. Great service from all department teams, prompt replies to any queries, great legal help and advice when needed, excellent money handling systems and tenant referencing. Can’t speak of The Letting Partnership any higher and would recommend them to any Letting Agent for back office systems. They make our job much easier to do.
Professional and Efficient
